Have been hectic for the past 3 weeks due to 7 days help out at a relative's funeral, loads of assignments to be rushed and preparation for law test which ended last week. So I am sort of free for now. hehe

A visit to High Court @ Jalan Duta

Waking up at 5.30 in the morning is not my daily routine. And the night before I slept at 2am. 3 1/2 hours of insufficient sleep. This is because we had to be in college by 7am cos the bus will be leaving at that time. This is my 1st time reaching college when it's still dark out there. haha

We took 1 1/2 hour to reach KL Court Complex at Jalan Duta. The jam was not that bad. Otherwise we will take longer then that. We met up with the Australians from Curtin Perth. We were given 3 hours to explore and hear cases in the courts. [ cases were mostly in Malay and I doubt the Australians and Africans from our campus would understand anything regarding bout the cases ]

A stressful week ahead...

Two weeks back, I just did Law test and another law test is coming in 2 days. T___T
This test includes more chapters and readings which caused my confusion ratings increased. Reading and memorizing facts would be simple but getting to understand the case studies is rather shitty.
Am thankful that I got 15.5 out of 20 for my 1st test. But this time, how much would I scored?

It's a 4 consecutive weeks of exams. 2 weeks ago was Law, last week was Accounting, and this week we have Law again and Economics ( chap1-7. OMG! T__T ). Next week would be Business Information System.
Sigh. I have no choice but to cope with all these stress. I am gonna be real busy and so I won't be updating my blog till then.

Save Our Earth

WARNING! Global warming is getting worse.

Ever wonder why going under the hot sun nowadays just for a few minutes can caused you sweating excessively and feeling " barbecued "?
Global warming is the key to this question. But don't blame it, blame ourselves for destroying our used-to-be wonderful planet that we lived in. Yea, even me. =P

So PEOPLE, let's do something bout it! Let us all start contributing in saving our PLANET!

And we begin with Earth Hour 2009. On the 28th of March 2009 folks, at 8.30pm, PLEASE REMEMBER to turn off your lights for only one hour. just ONE hour! It won't kill or bring any harms but indeed this will eventually save our planet and us too.

Even KL Tower, Penang Bridge, KL Sentral and etc are participating. =D

Went to KLCC with family yesterday to get some stuff and my mom wanted to get a bag from Isetan.
Before heading to KLCC, we went to Old Klang Road for lunch. An old and dirty coffee shop selling only chicken/char siew (stewed pork) / siew yuk ( roasted pork ) rice. My dad said they sell one of the best ' siew yuk' in town.

Before entering the shop, many customers can be seen waiting to take away as they stood near the stall. And of cos, the small shop was crowded and stuffy. Getting the waiter to take your orders would be fast but waiting for the food to be served would be rather disappointed. It took us almost 30-40 minutes to wait for the dishes to be served. =.=* damn hungry-lar!

Dad ordered 2 plates of meats; siew yuk and roasted chicken. And the portion was rather less for 4 persons. recession meh?

Overall, the siew yuk was crispy and juicy. A thumb up for this. I actually expected more from the siew yuk. haha. As for the roasted chicken, it was just as ordinary as the normal roasted chicken. I like the aromatic rice though. Different kind of aromatic.
The cons are the portion was little and the price was not cheap. RM35 for 4 persons. * excluding drinks *. wtf wtf. And they havto definitely improve their service as in the serving food to customers faster.

Anyway, the day before my bday, which was on Sunday, they planned to surprise me by bringing me to a place. They insisted of picking me up from my place. At first, I was told that we were heading to Pyramid. Then I overheard Yap talking to Marcus bout Damansara. haha. I knew what they were planning. And I was not mistaken, we were going to the place where everyone is talking about and here we ARE, Niu Ze Xui @ Ara Damansara. haha. [ we've been planning to come here a week ago ]

Too bad we had to go in the noon cos I have plans during the night. Sorry guys. =(
There weren't many shops opened during the noon and less people too. [ it was kinda warm there ] So definitely the best is to go there during the night cos they'll on all the lightings and etc creating a wonderful scene. Our main plan was actually to dine at FullHouse and we did. We had our lunch there. Thank god it was not full house. And I was told I can order whatever I want regardless of the price [ I'm not that evil though ] cos the both of them are treating me for the meal. So nice of them. aww~~haha.

We had to use handphones to take pictures cos we have forgotten to bring cameras and the use of phones made us felt lazy to take pictures. But we did took but not many. =)

Food was good, not extraordinary. The mushroom soup was awesome anyway. The best time to enjoy the set lunches are from 12pm-4pm and they offer affordable prices for the sets. they have only 3-4 sets though. I recommend Pan-Sear Chicken Chop and Fish & Chips for first timers. Though they looked small in portion, it can be quite filling. The ala-carte food therefore are slightly expensive. They served mostly western fusion and they have local delicacies like Nasi Lemak.
I love the decorations [ it's all white ]and the environments there. I guess the concept of the shop is based on the Korean drama Fullhouse. haha. It was quite relaxing and cooling [ we sat right under the fan. haha ].

After lunch, we headed to Pyramid for movie. As usual, it's Sunday and it was packed and most of the movies we wanted to watch were fulled. And so , we picked Role Model.

Didn't hear any reviews of it. Thought it's not gonna be good. But it ended up we all enjoyed the movie. A movie about two guys had to do community services of 15o hours by looking and mentoring after kids that are problematic otherwise they ll be sentenced to jail for 30 days. A very funny movie and it has morals too. haha.

And a present from Man Utd. They won the Carling Cup aka League Cup. HAHAHA. Thank you Red Devils! They beat Tottenham on penalties. 4-1

AU REVOIR SARAH &

HAPPY VALENTINES!

The day has arrived. My so-called wife, Sarah Loy [ I have a mistress too. =P. haha ] is leaving for Australia today. And it's on Valentines. Wrong timing and place for a farewell cos it's Valentines and we had to celebrate the special day with her at the airport. T__T

The three of us, [ Marcus, SzeVien and Me ] met up in Subang first before heading to KLIA. We took at least an hour to reach KLIA and we had to wait for the queue entering the parking bays. [ Marcus had to go to the toilet A.S.A.P but the long queue was bothering. haha ] Finally, we managed to meet Sarah at McD and we took our last pictures together before she leaves *sad*
Her family, extended family and the 3 of us were there to send her off and she hugged all of us before she entered the departure terminals. [ she didn't cry meh? lol. ] We are gonna MISS you so much Sarah.

So next, where to celebrate our Valentines dinner? The 3 of us were thinking where to eat while walking back to the car. And we only made our final decision on the highway. We are heading to Taishi for Japanese food! Knowing it's Valentines, we should have always book first but this time we did not cos we only decided the place last minute. haha. But thank god, we had to just wait for 10-15 minutes to get our seats. *phew*

Overall, food was good [ my chicken sukiyaki was kinda dry, need more sauce though ]and the best thing was price is affordable. Service was good too. The interior may look normal and simple but least they look like a Japanese Restaurant. haha. A place to try. It is located at USJ 9 behind CIMB bank. CNY Part II [ 6th Feb 09 ]

A Trip for Sarah

We [ Marcus, Ryan, SzeVien & I ] had planned a 2 days-one night in Genting for Sarah as she's leaving for Aussie Land for a year to further her studies the next week. * my 3rd time in Genting in 2 months =.= *

Anyway, the week before the trip, they came over to my place for CNY gathering after dinner. We gambled and played drinking games and ended up I got slightly drunk. The best thing of it, I puked everything I ate [ peanuts, chips & cookies ] and drank [famous grouse and Bacardi apple ] that night. I was the one who always kena by them to drink and all I know was Ryan kept refilling my cup with Bacardi. And the whole toilet smells like apple. haha. lol.

Back to the trip.
I booked a room in Chin Swee Temple a.k.a Pagoda cos it's so cheap, RM70 per night for a room with a single bed and queen bed. And the place is quiet, nice and peaceful. The cons of the hotel rooms are no tv's and the size of the rooms are exactly the size of First World Hotel's normal rooms, which is freaking small. Screw it-lar, all we wanted was just a place to play and sleep.
Ain't gonna talk so much bout the journey. All we did was Sushi King, walking around in the cold breezy condition [ it was damn cold and the road couldn't be seen clearly with the thick mist ], Starbucks, and we did alot cam whoring and took alot of pictures too. haha. Back to the room, we played thumb master, charades, "007 Bang" and "Truth or Dare". I think everyone got a little tipsy. Haha. Yea. We had alcohol. Chivas, Jas and Corona beers. And I think we were the noisiest and loudest among all the rooms. Haha. Throughout the night, it was a unstoppable laughter for us. wahaha.

A very late post =)

CHINESE NEW YEAR 09

First of all , Happy 'Niu' Year and Gong Xi Fa Chai to those who celebrate CNY .

This year's eve dinner was at my eldest uncle's place as he and his family has moved in to a new condominium recently .
And I guess I have an ill luck this year-lar . The day before eve , I fell sick , having fever and cold [ blame the late night sleeps =) ]
No pictures taken during the dinner though . Forgotten bout it . haha

First day of CNY , as the yearly routine , the Tan family will gather together in the morning [ to watch lion dance perform ] at my grandaunt's bungalow a.k.a temple in PJ . Later in the noon , we will all go back to my house for steamboat lunch and during the night we ll have another round of steamboat for dinner . And our yearly routine , gambling and drinking sessions begin! haha

Speaking bout it , Eugene and I were approached by a lady at Sony Centre asking
Lady : Excuse me , are you guys working here ?
Me : Err..Nope.
Lady : Oh , I thought you both are the managers here

On the second day , my family and some of my extended family went for a 3 days 2 nights holiday in Genting for the sake of the enjoying the cold breeze air during CNY . This was my 2nd time in 2 months and its gonna be a 3rd one with my friends on the following week . =.=
Not many pictures taken cos I had a bad stomachache for 3 consecutive days ! T__T [must be the oysters ] *bombarded the toilet bowl for 2 days * T__T
And the saddest thing is I lost rm100 in less than an hour in the casino during my debut . But thinking of it , I got through the police without any suspicion twice at the main casino but my two cousins , both 18 were unlucky . They were asked for IC and got kicked out . lol . So indeed , I was lucky =) A year to go to be legal !

The rest of the 11 days of CNY were spent visiting and collecting angpows of cos . And eating drinking , and eating , eating and drinking making me turning F.A.T [ Fatty Aaron Tan ] haha

As time passed so fast , 15 days have gone just like that . Good times have always passed quickly . Had so much fun and joy every CNY and I hope this will be repeating every year . *but with more angpows lar =P * Why-lar CNY has only 15 days ? How good if it last for a month . More angpows! haha . Well , face the reality , a year to go for another wonderful CNY .

Tenji Japanese Buffet @ SohoKL , Solaris Mont Kiara

Tenji Japanese Buffet is the latest craze in town . Many were talking bout it through emails and blogs . Thanks to Sze Vien who mailed me bout it . she wanted to go there so badly [ so do I . haha ] and asked me to book . I tried a few times and I couldn't get them [ their standard line ' our operators are busy at the moment , please dial another extension ' . ] damn kns .
But for once at late night , I got through them but unfortunately they are fully-booked throughout the luncheon promotion @ rm49.90+ per pax . [ those who are fast eater can go for their rm29.90 for the first hour , followed by an rm10 for the next subsequent hours ] .
But then , they told me they are having another promotion which is rm55 nett for the luncheon promotion till 17th Feb . I was thrilled but somehow didn't book first . After confirming the date with the rest , I tried calling them again , knowing it's freaking hard to get them for a week , day till night . and I always get the same answer . [ operators busy ] wtf .
Finally on the 18th Jan , Sunday , 4 days to go as we have planned , I finally managed to get them and booked a table for five from 12pm to 4pm . it was like buying a lottery .

So on the day , 24th of January , the 5 of us [ Sarah , Sze Vien , Marcus , Ryan and I ] went in two cars . I lead the way as I slightly know the way there [ as Sarah mentioned in her blog , we were not lost , just went into wrong junctions . TWICE! ] somehow , we made it there , just in time . Surprisingly , the queue was not as long as I expected . and so lets start the feast ! hoho

The scenery and environment of outdoor were great . golf carpets for the outdoor dining . quite unique . but the interior therefore is just good , not great . dark yet romantic . haha . they have their unique though .
Now lets move on to the food !

The famous oysters . They were seriously humongous , as huge as your palm I can say . You ll be great if you can down the flesh in one mouth . lol . They were fresh cos they were soaked frozen and served straight up to the customers , but with the taste of sea water in them , hence the foul smell . Some even had sand in them .
At first , listening to the good comments of the oysters around and being first-timers there , we excitingly took 4 plates of oysters and there were roughly 4-5 on a plate . And we have never felt so regret before . T_T [ and only the three of us guys ate . kns ]
The first two oysters were awesome for us and we were enjoying them . But after that , having the third one in our mouth was difficult and awful . Hence , the odour and taste of the seawater made us felt like puking . We can't bare to take anymore and there were like 15 more to go . How to finish everything and we can't just leave them on the table . And here comes the evil side of us . HAHA . it's a secret though =P

Don't be greedy anymore . Never ever take that much next time . *sudah tau salah* .

Only one picture was taken for the sushi . [ where got time to take one by one ] The sashimi was not that satisfying . It was not really fresh and the meat was kinda hard . And I took so much and had to finish up alone . The inari and unagi sushi therefore were splendid . especially the unagi . And as you can see the yellow strips above , it was abalone and one word . SLURP!

As for the teppanyaki section [ no pictures were taken ] we are required to drop our table's clip numbers into a bowl and they will prepare for us and send to our table . The best selection was the unagi teriyaki . Salmon and chicken teriyaki were just okay cos they were kinda dry . But the beef was good though . The downside of these orders are they come in a small portion . as in really small . a few tiny pieces - food-tasting style .

And one thing I would recommend , go for the ebi tempura . crispy and tasty .

The must-have drinks . The coconuts were quite different cos they have a nice aromatic pandan flavor . refreshing and sweet .

They had tea section as well . So many kinds of tea . flowers and fruits flavored and also a few types of good Chinese tea . They have cute transparent teapots and cups as well .

Not only they have coffee , they even have mocha , cappuchino and latte .

Comes to the dessert corner , they have so many choices of cakes , jellies , mochis , and cookies .
And the best section is the Haagen Dazs . All you can scoop ice-cream . hoho . Very worth the money we paid . =P

Drove my mom to 2 places today . Summit and Pyramid . serious shit last minute shopping for chinese new year . couldn't get what I wanted somehow . damn kns . reached home around 10 .

Went out again to meet up with Marcus , Ryan , Sze Vien , Sarah and Zi Yang for yum cha session . was supposed to meet them at 9 but as usual , I was late . went to pick up Sze Vien from her 'jungle' and then Sarah . met up with the guys later at Station One in taipan . the guys had 2 buckets of beer at promotional price . we chat and played a few games [ snap , bluff , heart attack ( everyone was staring at us when we played this . we were the noisiest ) truth and bottle caps . haha . those were the moments last time ] we left only when they were closing . haha

Had to stay home to clean the house . CNY coming in a week .
Julia planned to watch movie but I couldn't make it cos by the time I m done , I ll be late . and so she and Wen decided to come to the AEON near my house .
they came around 6 and we went to check out the movies first . and we decided to watch Yes Man by Jim Carrey since we heard the good reviews of it . movie's at 8 and we went for dinner first .
had dinner at Kinsahi Japanese Restaurant . food , service , and environment were great though the price was not tempting . haha but worth the money I would say . after the satisfying meals , feeling relaxed with the ambiance , we sat there for quite long chatting and cam-whoring . candid photos . haha .

Had a good yet tiring futsal game yesterday night . Saara and I slept over at Ting's place cos we planned to help him to search for his Schnauzer dog .

Feeling tired , we skipped the planned dim-sum breakfast with Tinesh [ he didn't call us anyway ] . Woke up at 10 and got ourselves ready for dog searching . we went to pick Josh and off we went to Taipan . 4-5 shops we went around and only one of the shop has it . price was quite high though . and so we continued looking for better price .

We had lunch at Nirvana banana leaf rice at USJ 9 . and we went on to Pet Family at Taman Megah . and they have Schnauzer there . it was really cute and Ting really wanted that dog but too bad , it was sold . they have younger ones , 2months but Ting didn't really like them and furthermore the price was not convincing enough . we had a last stop at SS2 and then we had to leave .

Got a call from Lionel a day after I came back from the trip . he was asking whether I wanna work again for Sunrise Yonex and yea , I agreed to work for them again and had to help him to find more people as this time we need at least 10 people compared to last time which we had 5 part timers only . mainly because this is a bigger event compared to last time [ Asian Junior Open ] . the three of us , Lionel , Marcus and I brought our own friends .

And so I worked for Sunrise selling Yonex merchandises in the Malaysia Open 2009 for 6 days in Bukit Jalil stadium . it was seriously a good experience though it was tiring but we had lots of fun . seriously fun . haha . I guess this is the first time I enjoyed working no matter how tired it was and had so much fun . but it's mainly because of the people who worked along . thank god I brought Sze Vean and Sarah [ Sze Vean kept asking stories and they always pinch me for nothing! haha ] along for this job and they brought Daniel and Andy for the last 3 days . I think basically if without them , we will be bored to death . and of cos the rest also . [ except for a few especially Ju-on , but he was our main source of laughter though . haha . inside story ] . without all the people there , it would not be as fun as it was and I m glad knowing them .

Not gonna elaborate much on my work . basically my job was just selling shoes and I guess it was the hardest and tiring job of all . [ I had to run in and out the store to get new shoes for almost 6 days ! ] 1st day and 2nd day I worked along with Sze Vean [ seriously won't be bored when she's around you cos she can talk non-stop . haha . ] from the 3rd day I worked along with Lionel on the other corner of the stall . damn kns corner . [ but still got damn many customers ] .

On the last day , we had planned together for dinner and chill at Station 1 to celebrate the end of it but we ended up heading to Sze Vean's place to chill . after helping the staff to pack the stocks , around 10 , we left for dinner at McD in Taipan [ we acted a drama by the way before we left to McD . to avoid Ju-on . haha . you guys should know ] . we went to get mixers and ices for the alcohol before heading to Vean's house . [ damn deep her house . going into the jungle . haha . don't get angry ah Yap ]
People at her house were 6 guys [ Ryan , Marcus , Daniel , Andy , Zi Yang and I ] and two girls [ herself and Sarah ] . the guys gambled for few rounds till midnight struck . and we started our drinking games . the first was Circle of Death [ I was everyone's enemy , no matter what I had to drink , wtf ] went with Big Fish and Small Fish game and later on 007 Bang [ we had different styles of bang though . haha ] and after that game , the guys were slightly tipsy , Zi Yang totally out and we brought him up to Vean's room to sleep . Andy and Ryan were sleeping on the sofa while the rest of us continued chatting at her bar table . [ they kept asking Marcus and I bout our secrets . haha . we were tipsy thats why they kept asking . haha . ] and all of us ended up sleeping at her place in her room . we slept at 6 am [ funny part is , Daniel had to wake up at 6 for college and all he did was just laying down for 15 minutes . haha ] Zi Yang and Andy had to leave with him while the rest 'kong' till noon . haha .

Memories of Sitiawan Trip [ tinesh's idea ]

30th Dec o8 - 1st Jan 09

Finally , we ( BBF ) had our first trip after 3 years . since we were 16 , we have been planing to travel here and there but everything just don't seem to work out due to various reasons . [ even our Teluk Gong plan haven't jadi until now ] . haha . anyway that's the past and we are looking forward for more trips after our first was so happening .

back to the trip . I forgot how we figured out the trip . the initial plan was actually to Port Dickson but somehow Ting found out that his cousin has an apartment in Teluk Batik , Perak . and from there , after the approval of his cousin , we work it out from it . accommodation , transport , and people [ as usual , it's always hard to get the 9 of us together but we got 7 out of 9 , so that's good enough ] . and everything was going smoothly . 3 days from 30th of December [ this is the first time we celebrate New Year together in 7 and somewhere far from the city . different way of celebration this year ] .

7 of us were [ Ting , Steph , Saara , Lan , Tinesh , Sarah , and I ]

Day 1

We all met up at Tinesh's place at 10-ish and get our stuff loaded and headed to PJ to get Sarah . and our journey begun . Saara was the driver and I was his so called assistant . and together we made a silly mistake [ we did not follow the GPS that time since Saara said he knew the way ] . we missed the Bidor exit which leads us to go to Ipoh [ longer way but we finally fulfilled one of our old plans ] .
after a long exhausting journey , we finally reached Ting's cousin's place to get the apartment keys and we had a late lunch in Kampung Cina . a seafood restaurant that was only available at that moment . then we went to stock up snacks and drinks and off we head to the apartment . and here we are Marina Cove Resort . with 3 well-kept rooms , balcony facing the sea , we really felt so much at home . after settling down , the guys went down for beach soccer while the girls just sat there chatting and watching us play . then all of us got together playing volleyball and captain ball .
around 7-ish , Saara was so tempted to try the hotel's water theme park and so we all headed for some splash . slides , water polo , volleyball were awesome . [ the water was dirty though but screw it-lar ] . we played till the place closed at 9 and we went up to clean up for dinner .
dinner was at the apartment's cafe . food was not bad . but we had to wait almost an hour for the food . damn kns service . Saara was so pissed .
back to the apartment after dinner , we had charades and a few new games and the night ended with Twister . haha . headed to bed at 5am . [ sorry Saara for waking you up ]

Day 2

Woke up at 10 . the 3 guys had a dota game before all of us headed to the main beach in Teluk Batik . we intended to ride on the banana boat but we postponed it to the evening and eventually to the next day . we chilled and sat by the beach with ice-creams [ cones cost us rm3 each . wtf ] and we built sandcastles .
then , we left for lunch , back to Kampung Cina for Restaurant Ah Pek Lee Kou which was closed yesterday . without proper planning and due to hunger , we had ordered 10 dishes and 3 big bowls of rice . [ it was like we didn't eat anything for a week ] haha . and so we paid the price [ double the price of yesterday's restaurant ] but still darn cheap compared to other places .
after that fulfilling meals , we headed to ' The Store ' to stock up our snacks and drinks for the night . and there was a guy who kept staring at Sarah and smiling at her . what a freak .
back to the apartment , the guys played a dota game again while the girls played Metal Slug on psp . after one of the laptop had a problem , we eventually stopped and went down for beach soccer again [ an addiction to us guys . haha ] while they girls continued their Metal Slug . then , all of us played 'Monkey' till sunset as the end of outdoor activities for that day .
we then went up to get ready for dinner . had some cam whore sessions though . dinner was at at a 'Ikan Bakar' restaurant facing the sea nearby the apartment . the fishes were good but the dishes were disappointing and in small portions .
after dinner , we rushed to a church nearby the town as Sarah wanted to attend a countdown service . and thank god , she came out at 11.30 enough time for us to rush back to the apartment for countdown for the fireworks as well [ we had the most perfect view , right in front of us ] fireworks were not so grand like the usual ones , but after all , as I said , a different celebration this year , filled with the company of best friends on a trip . AWESOME .
after wishing and hugging everyone , we got into cam whore sessions with all kinds of poses we managed to do [ could not be shown all , too many ]

after almost an hour of cam whoring , we retired from it and settled down for games . Circle of death was the first thing followed by Fuzzy Duck thingy . [ this got us laughing till our stomach cramped ] . most of them went to bed before 5 am . except for Ting , Steph [ they planned to stay up till sunrise ] and I but I couldn't take it and dozed off at 7 am .

Day 3

it was a 3 hours of sleep for me . woke up , we had Maggi for breakfast before heading to the beach again for banana boat . the price was seriously cheap till we rode twice [ they gave us discount some more for the 2nd ride . haha ] . and the salty sea water splashed and irritated our eyes throughout the ride . and I was the at the front of the banana . damn kns . had to keep rubbing and closing my eyes . [ sore feeling ] but we had so much fun . while drying up , some of us ran around flying kites and I got buried in the sand ! [ no pictures were taken ] and they were jumping on me after that and my 'little banana' [ haha ] got sort of 'crushed' when Ting put a full force step into the sand right onto it . *ouch* .
we got back to apartment to wash up and pack our luggage and of cos clean up the apartment . time to leave this wonderful oasis . *sigh* .
we left around 2-ish and had lunch in KFC in the town . headed to Ting's cousin's place again to return the keys and there was it . time to head a long journey back home . bringing back our luggage and the wonderful and unforgettable moments we had together . I will never forget what we have gone through .

Yesterday marked the end of mega sales . went to 1u to do last shopping for Chinese New Year . that's all for yesterday .

As for today , stayed home to get some rest cos I'm starting work tomorrow! 6 days promoter for Yonex as they are having Malaysia Badminton Open till Sunday at Bukit Jalil Stadium . gonna meet people from overseas I supposed . hehe

So I won't be updating much for these 6 days . will be back to post bout the job ( maybe ) and of cos the M.O.S.T trip . haha . will elaborate more on that later . take care folks!

Woke up in the afternoon yesterday . 2 days of lack of sleep , what do you think .
unpacked and clean my luggage . slept again in the evening .

During the night , had dinner with family and was supposed to meet Pineapple after dinner but due to an emergency which my uncle was admitted to hospital . it delayed the time but I managed to leave at 10 and reached Pineapple's place at 11 . passed her the charger and a chocolate from Genting . *hopefully she likes it*
and so , we still have time and went for a movie in Pyramid . 'Bedtime Stories' .

stories told by the two kids came true . awesome movie . humorous and funny . can laugh all the way man . and there's a cute guinea pig who has humongous eyes . damn big wey . haha .

I'm back!!
3 days and 2 nights in Teluk Batik , Perak was so fun and awesome !!
will post about the trip ASAP . cos I'm freaking tired , sleepy ( had only approx 8 hours of sleep in like 60+ hours ) and lazy .

Finally , the trip is happening !! wooott .
was on skype with Ting and Lan yesterday discussing matters bout the trip till 1-ish .
packed my stuff till 2 am and went off to bed at 3 . Pineapple's message woke me up around 5.30am . haha . she didn't sleep the whole night . thought she was sleeping after her last message .
luckily she woke me up so that I could watch the 2nd half of the match between Man Utd and Boro . and thank god they managed to score a goal on the 70th minute . Berbatov volleyed . but that was it . final score 1-0 .

I ll be leaving in 2 hours . meeting up at Ting's place at 10 . hohoho . will update bout the blog once I'm back . and will post bout the trip too of cos . will be there till New Year and so we are gonna countdown there . different style of celebration this year man .

So I'm wishing everyone earlier .

Slept at 4 yesterday and woke up bloody early at 8 today . sent Tinesh back to his hostel and Ting back to Subang . headed back home and immediately packed my stuff * damn last minute wey . kns-ed by parents * . and off I went to Genting with my family to celebrate Christmas . hohoho

Checked in at 1 . settled down and had lunch at Gohtong Jaya before heading to Pagoda temple . and wow . it is totally different now . much developed with a new hotel and other new amazing statues . *i guess i have not been there for almost a year* . and it was freezing up there . *we haven't even reach the top of Genting * . took lots of pictures . spend most of the time snapping everything I saw . haha .

Temple's done and we headed up to Genting Highlands at 5pm . amazingly it was not jammed and parking bays were not full . but it was just because it was still early . and yea . after 8 pm , more and more people could be seen and the place started to be packed . followed my mom and aunt to the casino . hohoho . *i'm still illegal but who cares* .
left at 11 to join my dad with the kids . chilled at a bakery and could see the middle of the hotels surrounded and packed with people countdown-ing for Christmas and fireworks . went to joined the crowds but ended up nothing was blast to the air . =.=* . I knew it ! no fireworks on Christmas . but the atmosphere was freaking awesome-lar . people making sounds when there were no fireworks . wanted to go to Safari for their eve party but ALONE-lar . damn it! my friends couldn't make it due to family gatherings .

Merry Christmas everyone!
woke up early to join my dad for breakfast while the rest were still in their beds . checked out at 1pm . and back to casino again . haha . but only for a moment-lar . and everywhere was so packed . since most of the food outlets were packed , we had lunch in Sushi King which it was not so crowded and the price was rather worth it . and the weather was worse than yesterday . it was totally misty and bloody freezing and cold .* i left my jacket in the car , that's why I was shivering * walked around snapping pictures . we left at 8pm and reached home by 10pm . and we had problems driving down from Genting due to the thick mist . serious shit can't see the road . damn kns .

A big day for someone special to us . a close friend / brother to me since we were in standard 4 . *those were the days* . and yea . we have been friends for 9 years . were in the same neighbourhood till I shifted 3 years ago . wow! those memories man .

And so today is his day . Tinesh Khantan a.k.a Tinesh Jackson . hahaha .
to celebrate his auspicious day , we have planned a dinner with him in Klang after his finals . before the dinner , Lan , Ting , and I went to Pyramid searching for his present . Saara came for a short lunch with us though . After looking around for hours , we finally went back to the sticker shop and got him a present that we think suits him . a gold medal . haha .

For him

Steph called and said she couldn't make it but she got us a chocolate banana cake from her bakery . we went to get the cake and headed back to my place first to settle down before going for the dinner . we played PS2 before picking up Tinesh and we waited for him for half an hour in the car . *was supposed to meet up at 7 but ended up 8.00* . and as what the birthday boy wanted , we went to Green Box for the buffet dinner and karaoke of cos . *the cashier was not bad* quoted by Lan & Tinesh . hohoho . we were so hungry that we took all kinds of food and drink one shot . and only then we started to choose our songs . we had lots of fun , emo-ness , gayness and much more in the room . you gotta be there to understand . haha

Before that , Tharsh(Tinesh's sister) had planned a surprise for him with me which she drove all the way from subang accompanied by Jasmine and suprise him with a cake . and the plan went slightly off . the initial surprise was to surprise Tinesh with a cake after our dinner at any of the restaurant . but the plan was canceled cos we had changes of plan which we went karaoke till midnight . Tharsh and Jasmine had to wait around my house for almost 2 hours and they were rushing me when we were karaoke-ing . Tinesh wanted to stay till 3 am but we had to give him some excuses and thank god he agreed to leave at 12 . and to make things worse , we were stuck in Jusco . almost all the exits were closed and we finally managed to get out after looking for the guard . *the exit was actually the elevator beside Green Box* . kns-ed .

And so , our suprise was considered succesful and we had it in my room . had some problems with the candles though . and they messed up my room with chocolates on my floor! haha . and after all these , they dropped Lan back to his home while Ting and Tinesh stayed over at my place and discussed bout the trip . woooottt!

Went to Ting's place in the morning and we chilled and had breakfast before we headed to Pyramid to meet Lan there . we were helping Ting to get a brand new phone . haha . thanks to me who brought the brochure back to his place which attracted him to get a new one . but after getting his new phone , he eventually blamed me cos I brought back the brochure. haha . and didn't tell him his old phone's speaker was not spoiled but it was just because it was turned softer. haha . I didn't know that was the problem-lar ting . hope you love your new phone . haha .

we had lunch at a new restaurant *forgot what was the name* behind Kim Gary before Lan came . price and taste were good . environment was quite calm and relaxing . a family business though . Lan came later and joined us to get Ting's phone . Lan went home after Ting got his phone . so left the both of us walking and loitering around Pyramid aimlessly . Ting got a message from Steph saying she was so bored and wanted to have dinner . we went back to my place to settle down , charged Ting's new phone , and played PS 2 before leaving to pick Steph and Lan from Kota Kemuning . initial plan was to pick the both of them up and have dinner at Klang . but canceled due to some excuses . and out of a sudden , Saara called Ting and said ' let's have dinner in Kota Kemuning' which we were already there . haha

we picked Steph and Lan up and went to a bookshop first before going for dinner . and guess what the four of us were in black and we were guessing whether Saara will be in his usual white shirt with the 'aerogel' logo which he did . haha . and as usual we will always have problems deciding what and where to eat . ended up we went to NTS coffee shop and after dinner , we got ourselves Ramli burgers and some snacks from 7-eleven and headed to Ian's house for charades . Steph and Ting one team while Saara , Ian , and I were in a team . *saara was a first-timer but he was okay . adapted to the game fast .

Saara left earlier and Tinesh told us he will come to KK to meet us and he intended to stay at my house . so the four of us waited for him in Ian's room for 2 hours . gonna kns him . during the 2 hours , what we did was just camwhoring sessions . real kao kao camwhore . I was the camera man and joined by Ian later using his mini tiny tripod . haha . some photos are not to be seen . haha . then we got bored of it and while Ian was busy with his laptop , the three of us stoned and I fell asleep . and finally Tinesh came ! headed straight back to my place and we played 'thumbmaster' using just plain water . felt like vomitting and bloated-lar . went to bed after chatting with pineapple . and good night people .

Met up with Ting at Pyramid after his exams . staying over his house tonight to teach him finance for his paper tomorrow . *i don't have finance knowledge-lar. just did acc and basic business maths only .* he said at least I have the basics so I should know some . haha .

we were there early and we had Shih Lin Taiwan Street Snacks for breakfast . we were planning about our holiday trip as well . and stories of *miss pineapple* you know who you are . loitered around after the meal. about an hour later , we went to Zanmai *both of us were craving for japanese* for lunch . and we continued our conversations there . had sukiyaki , ten don , and a few sushi.

after lunch , we intended to play bowling or either a movie . movie canceled due to the time . bowling canceled cos they were having ASEAN competition thing . and so we headed for snooker . my second time playing snooker and first time for Ting . so why not give it a shot and with student cards , we got it for rm6 per hour . we took one hour just to finish a game . T.T embarrassing-lar . went back to Ting's place around 5 .

had plans with Saara for dinner the day before . left Ting's place around 8 and reached Summer steamboat buffet at Mentari .*opposite Yuen steamboat which was closed that night* Ting and I were there first to get the table . Saara came after 1/2 hour and Josh and Brandon came an hour later . lol . headed back to Ting's house at 10.30 and sort of continued teaching him finance .

Ting called me in the morning and asked whether can we do something since he was bored and he was having the car. the initial plan was to meet up in AEON Bukit Tinggi. canceled cos Ian only can make it if it's nearby his house *which is KK* and Steph laziness. haha. good excuse huh. and so since they both stay in KK. we are gonna meet them there.

Ting and Josh went to Steph's house earlier from Subang. Ian joined them after he was done with Midvalley. Tinesh and I came 2 hours later. got stuck in the jam picking up Tinesh. we picked the four of them from Steph's house and we had steamboat for dinner. and not to forget we had 2 issues rejecting the idea of steamboat. Ian and Josh.

we ignored Ian and parked the car. he was still not satisfy. haha. the six of us ordered 6 sets and we added 2 more sets later. we are big-eaters! and we had 2 groups. the porridge and tom yam groups. hahaha.

THE TAN's DAY OUT AT KL

Day 1(Saturday, Dec 6)

Gathering at Uncle Nicky's(dad's eldest brother) house.

basically it was because the children wanted to go for a swim at his new condo's swimming pool.

Headed to his place in Setapak in the evening. and it started raining while we were on the way. my brother got upset and eventually asked me to drive faster. and the rain got heavier. haha. sorry kids. it's just not your day. but when we almost reach his place, the rain has not started yet. lol. Uncle Alex and his family were already there waiting for us for two hours. Eunice(cousin) was in the pool earlier . Ryan(little brother) and Keat(cousin) quickly joined her once we got down from the car as the black clouds were seen heading to our side.

In the condo. my other two cousins(Eugene and Chien) were watching 'The Haunted School'. haha. the ending was kinda ridiculous -lar. we had to rewind twice to understand it. lol. we played PS2 after that. when everyone was having their dinner, the three of us went to gym instead and we planned to swim after gym as well. gym was closed.wtf. and ended up we went swimming for almost 2 hours. they have a jacuzzi in the middle of pool. cool huh. but it was cold rather than hot. we took time to adapt the coldness of the water. damn freaking cold-lar. at night and rainy day somemore. during dinner, we were served like kings. muahaha. everything was prepared for us. we just sat and enjoyed our meals. *love the rendang*

Day 2(Sunday, Dec 7)

People at the Pavilion- Chia Heng and his fiance Charlyn, Chien, Keat, Eugene and me.

The six of us went to Pavilion to watch Bolt 3D at midnight. and the tickets cost us each rm18! Chia Heng paid for us anyway. hehe. thanks cuzzie. we were in Pavilion earlier to get the booked tickets and of cos to chill and shop. since all the shops closed at 10pm and we still like have another 2 hours. we decided to waste our time at Coffee Bean or Starbucks. unfortunately both of the places were fully occupied. i guess almost all the cafes, restaurants etc were packed. a last resort. Headed to Midvalley for shopping today. the 5 of us(Chia Heng, Claryn, Auntie Lai, Eugene and me) Chien couldn't join us as he has to work. *sad case*

Midvalley and the Gardens were freaking packed. recession le next year. still so many people. well christmas and new year are coming. hard to walk. mood of shopping down. wanted to buy shirts at Robinsons but found out I didn't bring enough cash. will be back there next time. Claryn bought a new DKNY bag though. haha.
Tired and sleepy. a great weekend!

Hail the highness. hahaha.

We had a proper dinner with him this time compared to last year's celebration at AC which we had lunch. We had fun though.

3 different plans came up.
Plan A- dinner at teluk gong. cut cake at my park. our very 1st initial plan. canceled due to Sarah's inconvenience because she's in her hostel in PJ. so here comes Plan B.

Plan B- pick up Sarah from her hostel. head to Curve or TGI's at Section 14 for dinner. end with a supper at Murni. so I went to pick up Steph and Ian with my cousin Chien along. and we waited for Josh and Ting at Caltex Sunway to head to PJ. then suddenly Saara called and said he finished class earlier and can meet us up. said PJ and Damansara very jammed up. so plan B's out and plan C comes in.

Plan C- Saara pick Sarah up and we all head to Pyramid for dinner. and finally this plan succeeded. haha. i am kinda sick of Pyramid anyway. no choice-lar

We eventually wasted alot of time waiting at Caltex. should have went straight to Pyramid. lol. Everywhere's jammed up-lar! and so finally we managed to meet in Pyramid.

We suggested a few restaurants to dine and Ole-Ole Bali was in all of our mind. but the restaurant was packed and we had to be in the waiting list. didn't want to wait and so we went for our last resort Manhattan Fish Market. it was packed though but we just waited for a short while. and talking bout Ole-Ole Bali we had the funniest joke throughout the night. we saw Xandria Ooi waiting outside Ole-Ole Bali. but Ian without knowing she was there went to the stairs and said out loudly "wooooo. Xandria Ooi" while posing like a model. damn gay wey. we quickly ran off like we didn't know who he was. HAHAHAHA.

in the fish market. we had all sorts of conversation. basically all bout indians and chinese. we always árgue and debate each other. haha.

(There's always racism between our gang. the white ass and black ass. BUT we were joking-lar. no offence k. This is us.

Tinesh joined us only after we had our meals. then we started the cutting cake ceremony. hehe. before that, there was another table who was celebrating as well. so we sang the birthday song louder than the table and I guessed this was the loudest birthday song I ever heard. everyone in the restaurant was looking at us. even the passerbys were staring at us. and we were sitting near to the walkway. and instead of being shy, Ting actually stood up and waved to everyone. lol. he got big balls huh. like I said. we are wild.

" you owe me-lar" and some dota shit. *a story behind it. we got him a Sonic Gear Evo7 speakers which he wanted. but he also wanted a mini ipod. haha. next year maybe=P.

at the basketball court. as I was the earliest to come out from Pyramid I went to give someone something. thought I was still early. at the end I was the latest to reach KK. we started to play Charades there. and people were having a basketball match. lol. Chien had to leave before we started playing. we left around 12-ish and I was supposed to meet my friends at MOS. hehe. I was sleepy and tired-lar.

No plans for today except dinner tonight with some friends.
Caught up with an old movie, 1999. The bachelor in HBO. Chris O'Donnel and Renee Zellweger.
"One thousand brides. One hundred million dollars. Jimmie Shannon(Chris) is about to discover the true value of love. "
Basically, this is a love comedy movie. Jimmie Shannon is a man who has had dozens of girlfriends and they all break up with him cause he is unwilling to commit till he met Anne(Renee). He starts to loosen up but is still a little hesitant. He proposed her the first time nervously that he screwed up the proposal and she was disappointed with him. Later, Jim's grandfather has passed away and eventually left him $100 million. But only if he gets married on his 3oth birthday which is the next day by not later than 6.05 pm. weird timing huh. and the marriage has to be based on true love and last for 10 years. only can be separated once in a month. lol.and have a kid in 5 years. otherwise he won't get the money, the company will be sold and the employees are gonna lose their jobs and his bank account will be frozen.
He quickly went to propose Anne again without telling her the money but he failed again cos he was still not dare to commit. She left for Greece for work but get off the plane and visited her parents with her sister.
Jimmie had no other choices but to find someone to marry. He went all over finding and proposing to his exes but all ended up nothing and ugly. Later on, he went to a lake with the priest to calm down and from there, he learnt alot from the priest. The meaning and happiness of true love. Love is a true happiness.
As Jim was sleeping in the church, his friend Marco did some classified and it came out on the front page. Who wanna marry a $100 million guy? At least 1000 girls dashed with their gowns to the church and Jim was speechless and he had to explain criteria that the 1000 girls asked. And Anne was on her way back but in the end, Marco called it a bluff and all the girls went mad and chased Jim.
Cut short, though Anne was disappointed with the classified, Jim this time managed to proposed her successfully cos he's really in love with her and ready for commitment. And blahblah. They got married on the stairways in front of the 1000 girls. HAHA. He got his money and love in the end.

Followed my dad to his office and started working. Did some typing and faxing and paper stuff.

Back home after lunch and he went off to meet clients.

It rained heavily and Saara had to cancel his tennis coaching at the clubhouse. came my house at around 5-ish and we headed to Aeon Bukit Tinggi for movie. we went and checked what movie to watch and the timing. ended up we chose Lakeview Terrace and it's starting at 8. two more hours to go! we were hungry and there's nothing we wanted to eat at there. we went out and headed to a cafe restaurant, NJ at Bukit Tinggi. basically the food's good and affordable. with pretty cute waitresses. HAHA.

Went back to Aeon after dinner for the movie. And the ticket was only rm6! damn cheap wey! and we got the best seats. Not many crowds though.

Overall- Movie was good. the starting was kinda boring. it's a racism movie. Samuel L Jackson being a freako who lost his wife 3 years ago due to an accident and with a white guy. he was so curious why she was with her boss instead of somewhere she supposed to be. started to prejudice white-black couples. he's a cop and misused his power. this movie is about a new couple who moved in to a neighbourhood and is right next to Samuel. He tried to make them move out cos they are white-black couple. but in the end he died. shot by the police. a short summary of the movie. hardly seen Samuel L Jackson being a bad guy in movies.preferable to get DVD cos they cut some parts in it.

No idea what to dress for the dinner. prison theme le. the initial plan was Steph gonna get us handcuffs and they are gonna be in fur. lol. but she didn't get them. thank you. hehe. and we were supposed to have different characters. we have police, prisoners, wardens and etc. at first Steph wanted to be Paris Hilton and I ll be her bf. then I ll be the PIMP lar and later rapist lar( raping her. HAHAHA) But all these characters. nothing came out in the end =P. so a shirt with black stripes will do with a slacks and black leather shoes. and of cos with a tie. After all, it's a formal dinner. Steph and Sarah gonna wear formal black dresses as well. and the guys will be just wearing formal. Plans canceled!!

Was supposed to pick Steph earlier before 5 so that we can get at least some handcuffs from Pyramid but only managed to pick her up after 5.30 thanks to my parents. had to wait for them. havto drop them at Pyramid. reached Pyramid at 6 and we have to be at the college by 6.15. gonna be kns by Ting. and on the way up to the parking. the road to the college was so jammed up. wtf. really kns this time. and to make it worse Pyramid's parking was so jammed as well. And the worst part of it. We couldn't find handcuffs!! No time to find and we rushed to the college and this time it was not so jammed. And everyone was seriously looking at us in Pyramid. especially at Steph. MUST be cos she looks so pretty, beautiful, dashing, and hot. haha. (*rubbing her shoes*) i was amazed also when i saw her. hahaha. and we reached there at 6.30 with Ian, Wei Yan and Choong already there since 6. Tracy and her boy came after us and Josh, Tinesh and Sarah came at 8. damn late wey.

We were served drinks called the poison something. and we had mock tails as well. not bad.
Decorations, environment and atmosphere were awesome. food was okay. good concepts of food. performances were great and happening and not boring. and I won a lucky draw but only food vouchers. but better than nothing right. i want the hampers or movie vouchers-lar. lucky but not so lucky=) our table was the 'ah long' table. or should we call finance? haha. 4 of us won lucky draws and we got accused of cheating. haha. yea. we bribed.

The ending ended up with all the members applauding us when we walked out. good one. Overall. fantastic dinner. great organizing and planning . keep it up. we had lots of fun. and a memorable night.

Ermm..be successful and rich! had no other choices but to take over my dad's company next time if it can last =P. *touch wood* so I think a successful businessman will do-lar.

Both! no comparisons. how can we compare both? close friends are never easy to find and getting close takes time. they are always there for you. I really appreciate them. You know who you are. As for girlfriend, she will be the one who shares most of the time with you. a best friend too. understands you. loves you. cares for you. no matter what happens, she's there for you.

Never. though I said I wanna die and wanna kill myself. wait. I think I thought of it ONCE. The hurt-est moments in my life. But after thinking wisely, what's the point of killing yourself? will the person care and be sad? maybe that person will be even happier. and I don't wanna die at young age. still got plenty of dreams to achieve. And appreciate what God gave us. our life. suicide is not a solution but a problem. it's not fair for those who care for you so much losing you.

It depends on the situations. for my appearance, I ll be low confident and I always admit I am ugly. so what if I am ugly.

Yea.

Last paper today!! And it's Stats. Paper started at 8 and ended at 10. Didn't really have much time to finish all. Damn! I screwed up one question and I am gonna lose 15 marks! Fcuk man. Guess I have to forget getting high-distinction or distinction for this paper.

Leaving the lecture hall after handling up the papers was damn relieved. I am so gonna enjoy my day!! Some of my classmates planned to go for Masjid Jamek's beef noodle but I couldn't follow them cos they just told me this morning and I had plans with my other friends already. KNS lar they all.

Went Pyramid with Saara for brunch. Went to check out movies and met Ian with his mom. After wandering around what to eat, we decided Gasoline for brunch. It was empty when we went in but after we sat down, more and more people are coming in. Guess we brought them luck huh. HAHA. We took quite long deciding our food cos we were thinking of leaving for BBQ Plaza but ended up in the same place. Gasoline.

After brunch, we walked around and met Sarah Loy and amazingly Yup Sze Vien. YES. My amazing pet sister Sze Vien. It's been awhile since the day we bumped each other in front of our college toilet. LOL.

Spend most of the time with Saara surveying for his phone and at last he bought a new phone. A CSL phone. Big screen and loud speakers. Very reasonable price-lar. Wanted to buy another CSL but I think I still can't trust CSL. =P

Woke up bloody early at 5.30 just to study Management. See lar. Last minute. Now have to sacrifice my sleep. And things got worse when I can't remember most of it. And when I saw the questions, I knew I have read them but I just can't freaking recalled.

But, this paper quite okay-lar. Use your basic common sense and you can answer some of it. Hehe. Management classes and lectures have been too relaxing, dull and boring to us and most of us would do our own stuff or daydreaming in class. He doesn't even care.

After the paper, continued revising for Business Stats in library. Then I had to leave early to follow to Brickfields to register some stuff and headed to Shah Alam to send samples to my dad's customers. And back to home. And continued my Stats. Slept at 2 again. I need a good sleep after tomorrow's last paper.

Tired, sleepy, stressed and frustrated.

Macroecons paper is at 12.30 p.m. Went to college at 10 for last minute revision.

After all, the paper was not as tough as I expected actually. I considered it easier than micro. Hehe. Maybe it's because of the lecturer. I am not comparing who's good or bad. only good or better =)

Two more papers to go though. Management paper tomorrow and after checking my internal marks, 40/50, I was not so concerned about reading. But somehow, I decided to aim for distinction cos I am gonna major in that in the future. And guess what, I started reading at 10 pm and went to bed at 2+. gonna look like one bloody panda. Lack of sleep these few days.

Really kns this time. I started revising and reading only on Saturday and all I did the past few days during study break was sleep, wake up, eat, play, watch tv, online, sleep again. LOL.
And I went shopping on Sunday with Mom.

Repeated reading and still can't get anything into my head. Damn it. Prepare to KNS only lar. God Bless Me!
